There was no program in January, so I have no words for tonight. One time before, I had nothing and Kayleigh said, "Make something up!" So, Kayleigh, I took your suggestion. Here is my made something up. There was no program in January because Mother Nature is very fickle. If she doesn't want snow, there is no snow until the very last day of January. I hope she doesn't decide to clobber us in February. On Friday, Evelyn and I were working on the display cases, just the two of
Did you think Santa had so much to do that he forgot to see if Mrs. Claus was in the sleigh? Oh NO! He would never forget Mrs. Claus! She packs the sleigh, knows where everything is, and who it is for. Mrs. Claus had to stay home since she was sick. She got a visit from the North Pole's mischievous Elf, Bad Boy Biff. Every Christmas, he likes to show off and hits on somebody and spoils their Christmas. I guess he was planning all year that this Christmas, Mrs. Claus would be
Rich Marazzi, The Valley's sports guru, told us little unknown facts of the YALE BOWL. It is always the way, the closer you live to a famous landmark, the less you know about it, or even have visited it. When I was growing up, I lived far from the action of the town. It was very helpful information that President Loreen used to get up our strategic plan for the next three years. A new speaker system was set up, a great improvement, making it possible for all to hear the presentations. Kim Kraus, a valuable volunteer, was thanked for the work she voluntarily did that improved the driveway. Kay
On February 3, 2016, Chanel 8 WTNH visited Seymour for a "Zip Trip" ( A minute for a quick trip around Seymour). It was to be aired after the 6:00 p.m. evening news. I patiently waited, and finally, there we were - a nice sweeping view of our Main Street and our well known Antique District. The cameras paid a little visit with Tracy in her elegant Tea With Tracy shop, which is unique in Seymour, and the surrounding area. A stop at our natural falls, where the first people liv
